I started the day at Sycamore Grove Campground. I ended the day at Buckhorn Campground.

Here is a short description of the day:

Breakfast in Corning, then take the back road to Black Butte.
Dawdle at Sycamore so long I almost missed the “closes at 2” restaurant. Glad I made it, it was a nice place! Then another ½ hour to Black Butte and that’s my travel for the day!

Here is a short description of the evening:

Reservation system is weird. It said all my favorite spots were taken, but I am the only person in the campground.

Anyway, site 2 isn't as cool as sites 1 or 3, but it gives me better shade this time of day. And later if no one comes I can still hang out at the cool sites anyway! :)
