Today is day 8 of the trip. I drove 122 miles today, for a total of 860 miles so far.

- lots of white rock
Tropic->Escalante->Boulder City - very pretty drive, all campgrounds full
I started the day at North Campground. I ended the day at Oak Creek Campground.
- Here is a short description of the evening:

Elevation 8,800'. Small, very handy campground in the high mountains Route 12 traverses between Boulder and Torrey. All the other campgrounds up here are closed for the season.
