I started the day at Big Spring Campground. I ended the day at Alley Spring Campground.

Here is a short description of the day:

short drive over more shoulder less roads.
Walked Big Spring in the daylight, drive 4 miles to bbq and wifi and salad bar. Coupla small towns then another similar campground.

Here is a short description of the evening:

Another very nice, well maintained campground built around another gorgeous freshwater spring. The one has Alley Mill, a grist mill driven by the outflow of Alley Spring - now a park info center.

The mill is a short walk from the campground. If you hunt around for it there is swimming access to the river (swinning in the spring outflow, that's a no no in all these parks).

Story for today: Missouri has many beautiful springs.
