About this blog

This blog is a direct result of my second major heart event in Spring of 2024.

• That gave me a lot to think about! 🙂
• I’m pretty sure I lost some memory. I should remember more of the old days than I do!
• That was why I started this blog, to record the “What I remember about my Mom” type posts.
• I live in a managed care facility now, so I have a LOT of time on my hands to write! All the book and movie reviews and such are there just because I have time to do them!

All the things that catch my fancy to write about to fill the endless days at the old folks home are here.

The three by three table below sums that up.

• The reviews are easy – read it or watch it or do it, then write about it. I nice release for my pent up urges to be a know-it-all 🙂
• I seem to always have health issues to report on.
I did that for the previous decade here.
This blog takes up what’s happened since 2022.
• I don’t travel any more to speak of. So the Travel section here is all ancient history: trips I took in the 80’s and 90’s that I still have some notes about.
The magnum opus of the WHUFU domain is all about road trips in the 2010’s!

• The biography and thoughts posts are the hardest to write. There are only a handfull here, but I have twenty or so backed-up on my laptop waiting for me to finish the damn thought and publish it!
